Design Team Denise Boddey Post

Mini Album:
5 1/2 - 7 1/2
Spine 2 1/2
Because of Covid 19 I only had digital papers, this is the set I used:
https://deniseboddeydesigns.com/shop/ols/products/out-in-my-garden-set-1-card-toppers

Here is how I started the Album:
I connected 2 cardstock with tape

I cut out my front, Back and spine from Chipboard
2x 51/2 - 71/2
and 1x 21/2 - 71/2
put tape on the back all 4 sides and center

make a line with your ruler 1 inch from the bottom, this is where you
place all the parts so it will line up nice and strait!
Start with the spine, then on both sides of the spine you stick a piece of 1/4 inch scor tape
next to that you place your front and back so then there is a nice space in between.

Cut you corners of 1/8 inch from the cardboard, and place tape all the way around
on the cardboard and cardstock.

Now first fold the longer sides over then tuck the corners in and then fold the short sides in.

Take a piece of cardstock that measures 7 x 81/2
put the 81//2 side on top in your scorpal and scor the next lines
11/2 - 2 - 21/2 - 3 - 31/2 - 4 - 41/2 - 5 - 51/2 - 6 - 61/2 - 7 - 81/2

Place tape in between the first 2 scor lines, then skip 2 - then tape, then skip 2 so that you
have 4 strips of that,, now fold the strips with the tape on it over to the next one, and so on, if you turn it  you will have this..............

Now take your bone folder and crease all the lines and folds very good to the left and to the right....
Put tape on both sides of the hinges and angle the corners a bit.

Now Glue or tape it on the spine, make sure it is centered.......

For the pages:
Cut 4 pieces of 7 1/4 - 5
and 4 pieces of 8 1/4 - 5 scor these ones 1/2 inch on the short side so that they will be 71/4 too when they are folded, put tape on the 1/2 inch strip and adhere the other ones on top of them, then you have 4 big pockets, they fit in your album on the 4 spine Flaps.
Now it is ready to decorate it................
